Meet the speaker

Blane Harding

Blane Harding is the former Director of Diversity Engagement for the Office of Inclusion and Diversity at Virginia Tech University, and currently serves as a national consultant, having worked with over 60 institutions of higher learning across the country. Mr. Harding has a rich academic history, having served in a variety of Director roles at the University of Nevada-Reno, the University of Kansas and Colorado State University. Professor Harding has taught courses in African American history and Ethnic Studies for the past 25 years and has presented at national conferences and published several articles on diversity, multicultural advising, and advisor training.
